Proud owner of new 05 Tundra

I think I made a great deal today! I had a 2000 Tundra with 111K miles on it that eat rotors big time and needed some expensive front end work done. I sold the truck yesterday for 10,500 and owed 7200 on it. I also had a 93 nssan truck with a 182k miles that was leaking oil badly and the tranny was on its last leg. My dealer had a sharp looking reg. cab MVP with tile, cruise, tow package that the sticker was 19,550 on it. Minus the 2000 rebate and some more haggling they give me 4200 for my nissan. Out the door was 14,400 minus my 3000 down put me at 11,400. I only owe 4000 more than I did on the 2000 Tundra and have a WARRANTY! It sure feels good to have a new vehicle instead of 2 high mileage trucks that were eating me up in repairs! The new Tundra also has a bedliner and a new tool box and chrome tie downs. I really wanted a new SR5 access cab but it was over 6000 more and was just more than I could afford. The dealer tried his best to put some figures together for me on a new access cab but just could not do it. This truck rides like a dream, engine is not as quite as the V8 but not bad. I hope it tows my trailor and lawn equipment ok. I really wanted a new access cab but could not afford it. I still cant believe they gave me 4200 for my nissan, did not even drive it. I had it polished up real nice though and it did look good. I just real happy to have my first NEW truck in 12 years and payments are only 63 more a month. Sorry to ramble but jsut cant get over the deal, First time I ever got more for my trade than I wanted. Now got to go back outside and admire it some more! : )
