question about correct tire pressure?

99 Tacoma extended cab, 4/wheel drive, offroad package, came with a plow I never use. (inherited the truck) only 20,000 miles (only driven by a little old man to plow his driveway)

Its been sitting in the driveway for over a month so I want to take it to work a couple of days a week just so it doesnt sit all winter. I checked the tire pressure and 2 tires are in the mid 20's. 2 are in the mid 30's

Tires are Goodyear Wrangler GSA

31 x 10.50 R15LT I check the tires and they say max load 2250 at 50 lbs.

The sticker FRT - 2650 P225/75R15 15/6J 26 psi

RR - 2800 P225/75R15 15/6J 29 psi

What pressure should these tire be at? I'm guessing the sticker doesnt apply to my tires?

Somewhere between 26 and 50 psi????

Can someone please explain.

TIA

Steve

A good starting point, for tire life and handling will be 32 front and 28 back, increasing the back according to load. The recommended pressures are pretty meaningless, and always result in accelerated wear.
