Awhile back, I got sideswiped by a double axle flatbed truck. Surprisingly enough, my '86 truck endured minimal damage. I had to replace my hood and the driver's side front fender. I had a home-made push bar/grill that saved me from a lot of damage! Anyway, I got aftermarket replacement body panels for the toy. There were a few problems getting them to fit, lots of adjustment and frustration, especially with the new hood. Anyway, just be careful when you remove the plastic grill off the front of the pickup. This grill is held on with little white plastic snaps, which are very easy to break off. These little buggers were expensive, about $2 a piece and only available from Toyota. I had some difficulty getting the fender to align with the door also, so watch for possible crimping when you move the door into an open position. I got my body panels from

I am mostly happy with them, but if you aretough on your toy I would suggest Toyota aftermarket replacements. Just remember, 1/16th of an inch can make all the difference in getting these parts to fit. Good luck.
