Rug wet on passenger side '03 Tundra

Hello,

Please help! I had the windshield tested for leaks and it passed the test. The water only occurs when it rains. The Truck does not need to be moving for the water to appear. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Best regards,

RG

I had the same thing happen and it was the AC condensation line being blocked. The water backed up and dripped down in behind the glove box. Crawl under and find the drain end and blow compressed air back through it. That worked for me. H-S-F

This is a known issue with the Tacoma. The firewall to cowl seam wasn't completely sealed. You might check with Toyota to see if this could be a problem in some Tundra's too. Here is link for the Tacoma problem-

The procedure to confirm theleak in the article would seem to apply to your Tundra as well. Here is a link to another site showing trouble shooting methods-

I took the dask apart and found one cowling clip that clips inside the passenger compartment. That is where it was leaking. I had to remove the fan assembly to see it.
