Not at all surprizing. They do very well in Formula 1 and other forms of racing. Compared to a F1 racer, Nascar is terribly simple to engineer. The almost total lack of assist, control, and electronic features alone is half of the simplicity, so yes, they should do very well.

Good to see the domestic makers get some serious competition.

I bet Toyota beats them in Nascar as well. :)

We will see in 2006 for NASCAR. It is to bad Mike Skinner is driving a Toyota.. HE SUCKS. All non-Toyota sponsored Toyota's finished in the top

20, Toyota sponsored did not finish the race.
