Will Head Fit?

Toyota truck, 22R Auto. I'm trying to put a 1984 head on a 1985 block.

1984 Timing chain too long, 1985 chain too short. Can this be done? Please help if you can.

In a word: NO! Trade the '84 head for a '85-'95 22R/RE head.
