I have a change to purchase a 1977 bus which is 100% prefect, the guy who owns it was the second owner and got it in 1979, from a guy a who went broke. however i'm not sure how oringal and what a good price on soemthing like this might be....
its a 1977 bus, not a westy or anything, it yellow but it has a airbushed winter scene that looks like its from 1977 has a the artist siginture on it, the inside is a shag yellow brownish redish carpart, two seater with a bed in the back had an "Arch way to get in the bed, ice chest, little lights about the ice chest, and 2 lights on the other side of this arch way to get to the bed... its something out of a old inn... little amber glass (something like that) not a drop of rust anywhere... not even the air intake in the back. the sliding door track cover on the side, the paint is a little chipped but its nothing bad.
no rust in the engine compartment. its gas, i dunno what engine. has at spare tire in front, the guy uses it for camping hes about 70 year old atleast, and nobody else in his family drives stick, goes up state new york to go camping, and is alwas garage kept, in the winter it does not leave the garge he disconnects the battery and de winterizes it in the spring. there is even surface rust on the brakes because he hardely drives the thing..
so my question is what would you guys pay for this???? and what might be a customized that hte factory/dealer did not do?
