67 Bumpers

Finally moved the 67 from the barn to the garage. Didn't have time to get it running so ended up towing it with the tractor. In the process I kind of bunged up the old nerf bars a bit and noticed that the turn lights attached to the bars were getting a tad bit nasty. Turn lights were orignally for a motorcycle. HD I believe.

So I need to change the nerf bars and put something different on. As this used to be my show car and with very little work be shown again, I need something a little different for the bumpers. I'm thinking along the lines of euro blades with some kind of built in turn signals. My body work, machine work and welding all suck royally but I'm lucky to have neighbors and friends that are experts in all those areas.

Car is pearl white with very little chrome. Has the old ford teardrop tail lights and the front turn signals have been removed, filled, etc. Wheels are old gold 5 spoke Empis.

I was also lucky as I didn't find any damage due to mice, etc from being in the barn. Only thing I found was a whole bunch of mud dabber nests in areas but thats all easy to take care of.

So, how about some ideas ?

the head lights with built in turn signals as fare as bumpers what about the brits aluminum blades or if you could go the euro blads with the small gaurds like I have on my 64.

I did a pearl white beetle last year and just the subtle chrome made it look great.
