Alternate Cam Gear Idea

Hello Volks, Getting ready to put a new camshaft in. But I am still wondering about the cam gear. Since I am using dual valve springs on the cylinder heads, I am a bit concerned about the stock VW cam gear. The teeth are cut at an angle that I am sure puts a lot of side load on the bearing face. But, I am looking for alternatives to using straight cut cam gears. One concern about straight cuts is the noise. The other two concerns are the possibility of accelerated wear (all that noise must mean that there is some extra wear going on between the gear teeth) as well as perhaps more free play (less precise timing) between crank gear and cam gear. Are these last two concerns valid?

I am having difficulty finding 36hp cam/crank gear in a single set. Will a 36hp crank gear work correctly with a used Porsche 356 cam gear in a type 1 case? Will they fit at all?
