Brake job in San Jose?

I have a chance to buy a 1970 bug in San Jose, CA. The brake fluid leaks out and the owner doesn't know where the leak is. The shop that the owner used to use has closed down and he doesn't care enough about the car to research who else could fix it. I live in Wyoming and would like to fly to CA to get the car and drive it back. Having it shipped to WY would cost about $700. I would rather have it fixed in CA, so I am willing to handle arrangements for a mechanic to fix it in CA. Thanks

FYI - Brake fluid leaks that don't show up are usually caused by the Master Cylinder leaking into the "firewall" and from there into the tunnel.

Thanks for your opinion. I guess my post was not clear. Does anybody know of a mechanic in the San Jose area that I can contact that would fix the car?

Try Volksauthority, on Stockton Street, in San Jose. They are about 1/2 mile from the San Jose airport, and Ray Schubert and crew are some of the best. They have a website, but I don't know offhand what it is....
