How much does a standard 1970 bus weigh? I'd like to convert one to all electric one and want to use a beetle kit. Thanks, David

When we were looking at hp/wt questions for building up a new/larger motor for the '71 T2 we did some digging: 2900lbs for the std '71,
3200lbs for an outfitted camper.greg
