drowning ?

anyone feel like they are drowning ???

I find all the dry land (aircooled) is getting waterlogged :-(

I have been loosing my VW mojo lately , as everything seems to be getting 'soggy'

All the old aircooled clubs are starting to get 'wet'. So, Ive decided, to try and get my mojo back, I'm goging to start over and find water free areasto hang out.

been lurking here ... I'll lurk more :-) ... may even up my post count a bit !

anyone else feel that sinking feeling ?

I'm really itching to get my hands on an aircooled VW. I have to settle for the cheap imitations at work (Porsche) but it's not the same. Sidejobs all have water in them. :( Just today replaced front wheel bearings and an axle on a Grand Cherokee.

. . . I live in a rust belt community in upstate NY and I can tell you that I've never gotten as many head turning responses while driving my bug in past years as I now get. ACVW's are getting to be so uncommon now that some teen and early twenties people have never actually seen one in real life. It's like driving a relic from another era and sometimes makes me a little uncomfortable to be drawing so much attention while going about my daily activities like going to work or to a store, etc. I still love driving it and even doing maintenance is still a satisfying way to spend an afternoon but sometimes I wish I was a little more 'invisible' . . LOL
