fuel gauge

i,ve just fitted a new sender unit to my 74 van , can any one tell me if you can adjust the gauge neddle , as its reading to low . thanks

'74 Bus, unlike earlier years *can* be adjusted. But it is like working on a watch movement. I strongly recommend living with it.

You should do this test: ground the sender wire. If the gauge goes to FULL, the vibrator and gauge are probably working correctly and the sender calibration may be off.
