I gotta letter in the mail from the zoning office. My three bugs have to go! :-@ Why me!!!! Two bugs a 77 and a 71 for sale cheap. They must go NOW! Any body interested? The are located in Columbus Ohio. I don't really want them to go to the crusher! Somebody please.... $200 for the both of them. I was planning on making a baha outa one using parts off the other.

Currently I do not have pics. I deleted them just last night :-( I opened the letter today :-@ If they are still here tomorrow I can snap a couple of pics. Consider them parts cars. For parts cars they are worth $200 for both.
71 was the rust bucket donor. 77 was the one I was working on making a baja out of. Both must go. Or they will have to be taken to the crusher :-(My 66 I have found a temp storage place for... I guess the 66 will become my baja project. Unless someone wants it for $600 The 66 gets towed off Thursday morning on my dolly.

The 77, looks quite capable. Nothing over here has that sort of quality thats been sitting about.

Race cars always have the motors out for rebuilds - just throw a few blocks, heads & pistons around the yard - that'll fool the neighbours. Serious racers tear 'em down after each race, just to check for broken rings, missing valves, gouged bearings, bent rods, loose parts in the sump, etc, hahaha. (missing valves???).
Thats why I hate to see it go to the crusher. Well I'm off to save the 66 now. I will return e-mails when I get back on sunday.

Paint a Ramva logo on it and it can be the Ramva sponsored race car. We just don't have enought sponsorship dollars to get an engine. :o)

Any of those two beaters have VDO gauges in them? I am also looking for a cockpit white faced clock for my bug. I can't believe how hard it is to find a clock like that. I may make a 1 hour trip to the junk yard today just to look for some hard to find parts. ANything to stay away from those crazy shoppers! There were mainiacs waiting outside Best Buy this morning at 230AM. Can you believe that? Hello? Anyone out there? HMMM you all must be out shopping too. LOL Doug P.S. Check to see if they are ok to have in the yard if they have car covers on them. Usually if they are covered, it's not a problem.
