Hello all

Hello!

------

Just got my beetle inspected today for this year. I thought I'd come here to say hello. I've been away from here a while, but now I'll propably get hooked to ramva again.

How is everyone? I read Shag has returned back from the dark side. Kidd been to Finland yet? Jan moved to Florida? Does Speedy know anything about electrics? ...

Olli! I thought you fell off the face of the Earth! How's the family?

I'm still here, though I've resigned myself to mostly lurking. Yes, I went to Finland. May 3rd - 9th. Beautiful place. It wasn't *that* cold. Well, there were a couple times I missed the Florida sunshine but it wasn't too bad at all. I have to go back sometime this summer or in the fall. Jan hasn't moved to Florida yet. When he does all depends on how fast I get back there and how quick the embassy moves thru the paperwork.

Hope all is well. Good to hear from you again.

All well. Olivia is growing and learning to speak and walk.

Damnit. You should have mailed or called me. I could have paid you two a visit to say hello.

Ok, but you were here on May. That's not cold.

Let me know beforehand if you do.

All is well. I just had almost 10 months with almost usenet news and web forums... Rehab ;) My work has tossed me around some lately, but nothing important.

Everything nice to you two and hope to hear from you.

Well, had I realized you did not indeed fall off the face of the earth, you could have come to dinner when Jan officially proposed and made an ass of himself. :) Always nice to have lots of witnesses for that. We sure as shit thought he was going to faint. He didn't though, and I got the pictures to prove it. :D

I HAVE to! There's no if's about it. I don't want to wait until the fall but we have to see how everything plays out. When you get the government involved, you tend to spend a lot of time in the proverbial waiting room twidling your thumbs.

On a lighter note, I learned how to roll my R's! I can say Aurrrrrrrrinko!

Keep in touch, and welcome back to ramva.

I thought you were already married?? If not when are you planning to? Our wedding date is set for feb 22nd (dating for 10 years then)

:)

I did it in a restaurant too, in teh middle of my "birthday dinner" with all my best friends present.

We had a "Ramva New Years Chat Wedding" but for some reason both our governments refused to acknowledge that as an official wedding. Weird huh.

Not quite sure yet. We have a date in mind, but last minute tweaks to the program seem unavoidable. Could be sooner than we originally planned. :)

We've known since 98 or 99 or something.

LOL

I wonder what ours will be.

The date was originally set for October 23rd this year, here in the states. Now it seems we'll be getting married when I go back to Finland (easier to file immigration papers that way), BUT that'll be a quick run in and out of the court house. We'll have an actual wedding ceremony here in the states, but chances are it won't be in October because you know how slow governments are with paperwork. So we're going to have to push it back apparently. Shit happens. I can't fuss about it since now I'll get 3 anniversary presents a year. :D Or, still 1. I figure with 3 dates to choose from Jan should be able to remember *at least* one of them.

Sorry PJ, if I had known you could have made it, I would have invited you... I just assumed you couldn't, since it was on such short notice. Took us a while to get everything lined up and it got a bit hectic and exciting with the passport taking too long to get etc.

That's why i choose the same date as our 'dating' date. We usually go out for a weekend round that time (22nd feb) so i DON'T have to spent more money than necessary.......:-))

Come to think of it; we are planning to have a baby some day...... maybe february the 22nd is a good date..???.. (thinking,.. thinking,.. calculating,.. thinking)

To make that happen i have to quit reading this NG immediatly!! LOL

Go for it this summer, and enjoy.
