im not familiar with these kind of bulbs . i noticed the lights were different then what im used to. how do you take them out?

Take the screw off the headlight ring. Then there should be a retaining ring with a few screws holding it on.

It probably has a sealed beam unit so you replced the entire glass unit. Might want to upgrade to one of the standard wattage halogen units (do both headlights). They are about $15 each..
