How much should I pay?... Windows installed

I called a body shop to see how much tye would install fotn, back, and side windows with my new rubber and they said about 350. I think that's too high. My EX-GF's father does glass so he may be able to install them for me at a discount. Or is this something I could do myself?

Thanks Steven

It is possible to install all the windows by your self... HOWEVER the front one can be tricky.... if you dont get it just right a nice crack will speed across it faster than you can say OH SHOOT!

I installed all the windows back in the '69 by my self... also you have to watch it with the seals - dont poke, pry, lift the edges with anything sharp or mettalic for that reason. Also the string, twine or what ever you use around the the window rubber to get the inside edge inside the frame can cut through if you dont have the window set in just that right spot and if ya tug too hard, there goes the seal... it WILL rip through it. Not saying its super easy. It takes a little practice and yes i have screwed up a couple new windshields and window rubbers. If you never have seen it done.... might want to pony up the $$ and let some one else pay for the mistake of cracking a new windshield. Also soaking the new rubbers in hot water makes them a little easier to manage. Just my .02
