From the pictures, the pan appears to be resting directly on the ground.

Good luck.

Yeah good luck with your restoration project. About how long will it take you to finish it and show it? :-) Does it have a 56 title also?

Good lord....that looks horrible. I hope you like to weld. Good luck with the restoration! Look forward to seeing the finished product in ten years.

That's a score. The sunroof clip is work the price alone. Sounds like a fun project.

It doesn't look to bad, it ca be restored its just a matter of finding the parts and cost.

Its normal to find later chassis on ovals, look to see if you can read chassis # or look to see if its link or king pin front beam. That will tell you if its a

56 or 66 chassis.

unless you want to pay someone about 15k+ to restore it take the year and learn to do the work yourself.

My 1957 Oval rustbucket is on (what's left of) a 1954 chassis.

Oh my...

I guess my 1957 Oval rustbucket is worth something around US$450 plus or minus.

Hey! I take offense to that! "Enthusiasts?" What, exactly, does that mean?! I am simply a realist when it comes to car projects. I know they take a LONG time! :-)

I'm very excited that he's bringing a Oval back from the grave. I simply said it would take a long time! .....

hey if my show 64 is only worth $300 (NC tax value) your 57 can only be worth $175 at best. I'll give you $200 if it has a good rag roof...lol
