Did you see all of the completed cars? Wow what a show room! I think I want to spend over 7500.00 to get my bug restored like that.

Mario! I would be a large sum of money that you're reading this. You're famous! You clown! You messed with the wrong customer this time. I'm gonna follow this story. Maybe we should all be thankful to the "bad boy of vws" or whatever that gay name was you made up for yourself. You're gonna scare away people from the old VWs so their price will go up and we can all sell ours and get rich. You're an idiot. A God-damned idiot. What comes around goes around. You're probably going to weasel your way out of this one just because you can't get blood from a turnip. What a legacy you will leave behind. There is nobody in this world who is proud of you. *shakes head in disgust* I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

news.http://youtube.com/watch?v=JeQ8UwWPP4Y By way of an update, the lady this happened to posted a reply on TheSamba. I feel bad for her situation because in my mind Mario used her emotional attachment to get money out of her. There's no way one can charge 9k to charge for a paint job to subsequently leave the car outside to rot. If there was ever any doubt as to Mario being a crook, it has been removed now.

Judge the situation for yourself. Read her story, have a peek at the pictures. If you're not on TheSamba already, you will have to create a username/password to get to this thread:

Shag...I'm a bit concerned.... you need to stop beating around the bush and tell us the truth about how you feel.

If Joan would have just been patient I think she would have been pleasantly surprised. I know for a fact that Mario had been working long hours late into the night personally whittling Joan a *brand new*

1974 VW Beetle entirely out of Bondo. Unlike her original '74 Bug a Gavazzi Bondo Beetle (patent pending) is entirely impervious to rust and corrosion since it contains no metal as it is composed of 100% Grade A pure virgin Bondo hand crafted by the Bondo Master himself, Mario. It takes a bit longer to get a Gravazzi Bondo Beetle but it's worth it. Sure, they cost more than the average "restoration" but do you guys have any concept of how hard it is to whittle a transaxel and engine case entirely out of Bondo? Mario may be the only man in the country with the Bondo skills necessary to pull of this sort of restoration.

I hope I'm cool here; I have treated Mario (but only in person.)

The admin killed the thread about this story on the fmbc around the campfire forum.

Thesamba folk have steppped forward to help Joan, but there's not a peep from the moonies except for those who offered help through thesamba. I know the good people at fmbc would bend over backwards to chip in.

I warn you, don't run around making idle treats to Mario. He has been known to call the shreff.

On a happier note, I understand that Mario has got his Halloween costume ready and in a mere 37 days he'll be roaming the neighborhoods of North Carolina Trick or Threating.
