OT: 2CV frame replacement

I thought some of you might get a kick out of this. My '86 Citroen 2CVs frame began to collapse from rot and I'm having it repaired in New Jersey by a 2CV specialist and he's going to replace it with a brand new galvanized frame. Here's some pics of the progress so far.

Very cool! Have never seen one of those apart like that.

Btw, thanks for that tip on the Fluid Film (I think you suggested that to me a while ago) to protect metal. That stuff's great!

Nice photos Ben! I've never really seen a 2CV like that before, in fact I had no idea about those front brakes. How cool are they?!?

Most of the 2CV's over here have had a new frame by now, I think they all come galvanised so should last pretty well.
