probably another dumb question

are the engines the same in the beetle and the super beetle? as far as interchangeable. Thanks David

100% the same Super Beetles differ from the dash forward, from there back they are the same car.

So, because he was posting from the US, you decided to feed him with marginally correct information. Him posting from the US does not make your generalisation neither true nor 100% the same.

Thanks for the support, and lets call the matter closed. The point remains anyway that engines are fully compatible between the two. Maybe not in displacement depending on where in the world you are, but they will fit each other.
