Replacing Ball Joints...type 1

I just paid $180 to have them replaced. and I delivered the beam to the shop. DIY Question is; could I've done it with a 12 ton shop press? I see Harbour Freight has them for $130 I may be doing the job on a bus. TIA g

Short answer, yes. Have done it without a hydraulic press...
