SE Bug-Fair #7, Toccoa, GA tomorrow

We haven't been sure if we could go, with the storms and Kidd's sister about to go into labor... well she's in labor about NOW, so that's out of the way soon I hope... We have a babysitter for the brat and the dog... looks like we will be coming tomorrow (Sunday 12th).

No idea what time we will get there, I guess we'll get on the road around 7am (From near Orlando, FL).

Will be driving a red neon with a rear wing... my rental. (Gag).

Kidd will most likely decide what I (we) will be wearing so I can't comment on that just yet :D (She's all fussy about going out with dorky looking people, go figure... LOL)

We may or may not be wearing black "Volkswagen Motorsport Sweden" baseball caps. And probably some aircooled VW t-shirts.

We may also be dragging along Kidd's niece, a skinny teenage blonde. :D If her mother lets her go with us.

I would have given you ppl my cellphone number in case anyone wanted to touch base with us, but the damn thing broke.. today!

I guess we could agree to hang out near the entrance gate at say... 3pm or 4pm? I dont expect us to get there until some time in the afternoon. We are not "morning people" and 7-ish is the best we can do :D Actually it's mostly because of the babysitter and his schedule. But, like, whatever. :P

Change of plans! I've been at the hospital since 11:30 with my sister. It's

5:30 am now... I just got home. Stupid woman. I've been telling her for 6 months - DONT GO INTO LABOR ON THE 11TH OR 12TH! Did she listen? Hell no! Anyway, we're not taking the skinny teenage blonde, but instead we'll be taking the cute, dark haired chubby 2 year old. The dog is just.. screwed.

So we'll be out of here within the next hour and a half. If anyone is going, just look for a tall blonde guy with spiked hair and glasses pushing a bright red and blue stroller with a very curvy dark-haired chick covered in tattoos demanding his money and bossing him around. :D That will be us!

Or maybe I'll just write RAMVA on his forehead in black permanent marker......

Still in labor. Made me walk with her for 3 hours to get things moving along better. Now my legs hurt and I've gotten no sleep. :) The newbie, when he gets here sometime today, will be Brandon Michael. I'll be an aunt again. Yay!

Bah. Made it to southern GA and turned back when we got a decent map at a gas station. There just wouldn't have been enough time to spend at the show, if we had made it at all before dark. Driving up there took longer than we thought. Traveling with a 2 year old demands a couple of extra stops that would otherwise not have been needed... Well, poop happens. There will be other shows.

storms are no excuse... i have a 40ft tree about to fall on my house but i went to bug fair as promised!!! you and funkie BOTH stood me up.. whats up with that :(

We made it like 30 minutes into Georgia, when we had to face the facts and turn back home. The baby started vomiting in the car too. No idea why. She seems ok now though. We had to make several unplanned stops both ways. I should have realized we can't just hop in the car and drive up there in just one stint. (OK, a quick lunchbreak was in our plans anyway)

Uhh. We lost power for like 30 minutes when Frances swept past us.

Go ahead and email it then.. but just as my shitty luck would let us expect, my phone broke a few days ago. What the F is it with me this year... ARGH.

Sorry... things just have been too overwhelming here.. all my plans have bombed. Now I really dont know what to do with the remaining time, I am afraid to try anything anymore. It wont work anyway. Thank God life here "at home" has been good.

We went to St. Augustine. Love that place! Yes, we're leaving again in a little bit, after I do my school work. Going to Goddess's house too babysit for 4 days. 6 kids. Ouch! (not all hers) Jan's gonna have fun while I'm at work this weekend. :D
