stupid question re: bug top convertible seals

Hi all,

I was sure I would remember after taking them off months ago, but now in putting in rubber seals that attach to the convertible top frame, that create a seal between the top and the windows ( ie., when you roll the window up, it contacts a piece of rubber) - when these rubber seals get attached, is the larger smooth side of the rubber facing the inside of the car, or the outside?

Thanks in humility,

Matt S.

Matt....The larger lip of the seals is on the inside of the car. This allows you to open the doors...otherwise you would have to roll the window down a litttle bit in order to get out. Don't forget to use the aluminum strips and stainless steel screw to mount the seals on the wooden (pressed wood) part of the frame. Same goes for the rear side windows large lip is ojn the inside.
