1984 240 DL Fuel Accumulator

Hi.

While working on my brakes this past week, I noticed that fuel was leaking from the accumulator. Not good. The 240 runs fine (though occaisonally it will stall before coming to a complete stop) otherwise. Volvo quotes $215 for a new accumulator, which seems really expensive.

How difficult is it to replace the accumulator? I have a friend who is pretty handy--we replaced the master cylinder together and did a complete brake job this past week--but I don't want us to get in over our heads.

When the car is brand new, it's easy. However, when the car is 20 years old rust makes removing the fittings difficult, and weakens everything around (brackets, pipes, clamps etc.), making it easy to break stuff while you're struggling with rusty bolts and fittings.
