How long does a 740 GLE Turbo last?

Will a Turbo engine (230FT I think) last much more over 350Km (220K miles). It seems to drive well, looks good, original turbo engine 1988 model, wagon, drinks about 4 litres oil per year (~20Km/year), no smoke that I can see (engine has been warmed though.), engine oil/transmission oil/coolant clean. The car has been well maintained with oil change every 10km according to owner. Should I consider this car or is the 350Km something to stay away from. Price is quite high compared to other 740 (non turbo sedan) with half the mileage. Any thing else I should look at before making a decision? Thanks for any help you can provide.

There's way too many factors involved to accurately predict this, mine has

253k miles on it and I've seen them with over 300k still running fine, though the longest I've heard of the turbo itself lasting is about 280k miles. Have a leakdown test done and inspect the turbo for excessive shaft play, if all is in good order it should give you years of service.

My turbo crapped out at 175k miles, despite oil changes every 3000. there's no way to know.

Yeah it happens, from what I've seen the Mitsubishi turbos seem to hold up a bit better than the Garrett's, but either way they occasionally fail early and sometimes last just about forever. I would expect at least 150k out of a watercooled turbo, which isn't bad really when you figure it out to cost per mile.
