All injection cars should start themselves without any throttle. Needing throttle would indicate a fault, possibly with the cold start injector, throttle sensor, or ignition.

Just get in to the car and turn the starter key till it fires. There is no need to depress the accelerator pedal. The cold start mixture is automatically set when engine is cold. Check the cold start injector circuitry if that fails to get engine going satisfactorily.Usually the engine temp sensor for the ECU has problems.
Cheers, Peter.
