Injector fuel line

My son and I have resurrected his moms 1985 245 turbo. I was working on the injectors and found I hate the fuel line method. Rubber hose to metal tube... Has anyone seen another method used. Maybe bradded hoses.

An interesting note. I called my local Volvo dealer to get new seals for the injectors and was flatly informed that Volvo did not produce a 1985 245 turbo. When I replied that had one sitting in my driveway and that it had been registered as a 1985

245 T for 22 years I was told the registration was wrong! Gotta love the local dealership

They're a rubber sleeve over a hard plastic high pressure line. My advice is don't mess with them, I've never heard of one leaking.

Some of the last few 240 Turbos were sold as '85's, they were made in late '84 and the only difference between them and the rest of the '84 cars was the rear fog lights. That dealership may have never had any '85s.
