I got a 1999 Volvo V70 2.5 TDI Prestige (103 kw) which has not any iPod adapter, thus I'm currently connecting the iPod to the cassette player. Looking in the web, I saw AUX adapters for V70's not older than 2001. Anyone know if there are adapters for my Volvo model/year also?

Why not use a FM transmitter?
Crutchfield.com offers one made by usaspec.com which they claim is a direct fit to your Volvo. It is called a "Honda" model, which makes more sense than you might think. Alpine is the primary radio supplier to both Honda and Volvo. You might find other distributors as well.
