A car wash hyperextended my front door. The pillar bracket is loose. Is that a weld or a fastener? How is that area accessed? Oh, man, I need help.

Do you mean the pillar end of the door check-strap?
If so, the bracket is held onto a weld-nut in the pillar by a Torx-40 screw - which you may be able to tighten with the correct torx bit and a square-drive T-bar or ratchet wrench (needs quite a lot of torque). Just pull back the rubber boot to get at the screw head.
If the weld nut has come away, or if the pillar is cracked, it's a welding job, I'm afraid.
Recently had the same problem the check stop weld was broken and had to have a bodyshop welding job done at a cost of £100 (US$185)
