I have a 2007 S-60 which has a small storage compartment in the dash, near =
the radio. It's about four inches high, two inches wide and six inches deep=
. It looks like it's a box inserted into the opening in the dash. Is there =
an easy way to remove this box to put something else in its place?

Sounds like the space that was used for an in-dash mobile phone before
Volvo discontinued that option in favor of Bluetooth. The box you have
*is* the fill-in option.

Is there any way to take it out and replace it with something else? It
looks like I could just pry it out with a screwdriver but I don't want
to ruin anything.

Thanks, that diagram makes it very clear. It looks like I'll have to
take apart the whole center panel to remove that storage box thing
down in figures 7 and 8.
