Wiring diagram diagnostic lines

Does anyone happens to have wiring information on diagnostic datalines on a

1998 volvo 945. I'm specifically interested in which sockets in the 16 pole diagnostic connector that connects to the different ECU's.

Per, I presume you are talking about the socket in the bottom of the between seats locker/console. The connections from this are pin 1 - EZK Ignition Module; pin 3 - pin 1 of Immobiliser Control Module (fuel cut-off condition); pin 4 and pin 5 - earth/ground; pin 7 - pin 3 of Immobiliser, SRS Crash Sensor and Driver's Seat Control Module; pin 12 - ABS Control Module; pin 13 - Cruise Control; pin 16 - power from battery +ve via fuse 7. Pin 2 of the Immobiliser Control Module connects to pin 12 of the LH Jetronic 2.4 Control module (fuel cut-off when crashed).

Hope that this is of use to you, it comes from the 1997 940 Green Wiring Book and is the later version of the two shown.

All the best, Peter. (700/900/90 register keeper, VOC [UK].

Thanks a lot Peter, for a precise describtion. It seems to me from what you write that the LH Jetronic 2.4 pin 12, which is supposed to be diagnostic terminal does not have a direct connection to the diagnostic connector in the console, but goes via the immobiliser pin 2 and pin 1, and then on to Pin 3 of the connector. I'm not sure what you mean by fuel cut-off condition, is it the immobiliser that makes a signal to the LH 2.4, or the opposite. Can it be seen from the diagram what function there is between pin 2 and pin 1 on the immobiliser unit? Would it be possible for you to mail me a scanned copy of the diagram on the datalines and fuel injection system?
