300,000 miles and counting...

Note the .sig, which I updated as of yesterday afternoon after finishing up my shopping. Pics of odometer rolling over at 11. ;-)

Now to clear off some credit card debt so I can buy my car a REAL NICE gift of fluids, hoses, sensors etc. Yeah, then new CVs, suspension, upgrade those headlights that have been useless for nigh on 17 years I'm sure (four+ years for me that I know of), then new rims and wheels and a paint job, and it'll be ready for another 300K... :-D

We drove our '85 Jetta manual 290,000 miles. No engine work but two radiator replacemants and one clutch at 250,000. Had some nasty rear tire wear too till we took it to an allignment shop. Sold it and bought another Jetta. A German on e this time instead of Mexican. Another manual. These Jettas are/were Glenda's cars. I think they cost too much. Drive a cheap Toyota myself.

I'm gonna go for a million with my Jetta....and after the money I've put into her (body work, engine work, etc...) it's worth it!
