94 Jetta XM into factory radio

I would like to install XM radio in my car. I want a direct audio hookup (no FM modulator or cassette adapter) if possible. I have the factory Premium Audio AM/FM/Cassette/CD radio but do not have the CD changer installed. I figure the radio must have an auxilary audio input that I could potentially use for this. Any suggestions on methods/hardware for this purpose. I've seen a couple of places that offer an adapter for this but only back to 1998 VW's

TIA.

I researched this briefly as I have a 95 Golf with the Premium setup, too. There is someone who has come up with, or is working on, a device that plugs into the CD changer port of the Clarion VW Premium unit. However, it was REALLY expensive...something like $150. I found the info on the web somewhere.

I decided that if I wanted direct input, it would be much better to buy a new head unit. There's a low end Blaupunkt for $150 or less in the latest Crutchfield catalog that even has a aux input.
