Difficult to shift into 2nd on 2000 Jetta TDI

I have Jetta ( 2000, TDI) . My Jetta was serviced in Hamilton ( Ontario, Canada ) dealer, they changed 3 transmissions, 3 clutches and I had same problem, still today I have difficult to shift in to 2_nd gear. in cold weater I had big fight with WV of Canada, with WV rep John , I wrote letters to WV Germany , WV of USA, WV of Canada, dealer where I purchased my car, and was no luck, some of them returned with deep sympathy with explanation that is not their problem.

I would like to ask you kindly if anyone had same problem and what could be wrong with this car best regards,

I have had difficulty shifting in to second gear on all my VWs since

1977. That means my1966 Beetle, 1967 Beetle, 1966 Squareback, 1980 Rabbit, 1984 GTI and my 2003 Jetta. On the water cooled cars synthetic oil helped a lot with the shifting. I never used synthetic oil on the air cooled VWs and they where always a bit difficult in the winter.I also lived in Cleveland Ohio with the aircooled cars so winters were colder than in Atlanta. The Rabbits did better with synthetic gear lube but they were still a bit notchy when cold. The Jettta was factory filed with synthetic I think it has been the best shifting but it still is a bit noisy. I shift with a pause which is better than when my friends drive the car and just bang away at the gears. I guess it gives the syncos a bit more time to do their thing or else the input shaft has slowed down more so the syncos do not have to work as hard.
