Hit kerb..

If it drives normally, and if the steering wheel is still centered when going straight, you probably didn't bend anything.

Last night I slammed on the brakes about 100m from the traffic lights in the pouring rain. I rode the bitch in a straight line most of the way, but as the skid approached the 90m mark there was a twitch and she banked into the kerb. I don't feel any difference in the drive.. but would it be recommended to have wheel alignment checked anyway?

Which is cheaper? Alignment or 2 tires and alignment if the tires wear out in a few months?

Given we don't know he needs an alignment, the real question is which is more:

(alignment) or (alignment + (2 tires - wear on current tires) x (p = probability he needs an alignment)

Assuming it drives well and doesn't pull, P is most likely small enough that the latter is actually much cheaper, especially if the tires are somewhat worn anyway.

Thanks for the input, guys..

There's no noticable pull to either side when driving in a straight line. I was kinda more looking for a difference in feel during cornering, or judder through the steering wheel when breaking hard, but I'm experiencing neither so I guess I got away with it... :-) Well.. I say that but the new alloy is kerbed, which leads me to my next question.. [posting under new topic]

I humbly agree; however, I feel that we're in for another lesson in computation, p > 0.95
