I just bought a 1989 Vanagon carat. The engine runs good. Van will not move in any gear. Engine will rev to redline in park, neutral, and all forward gears. Stall test works in reverse - revs to around 2400 max. Seems to try to move forward slightly when put in reverse. When in neutral it can be pushed forward easily but it acts like it's in park when you try to push it backward. Any and all help will be appreciated.
