If it's only while moving check the gear oil in the differential. It's seperate from the auto trans.

Try to isolate where the sound is coming from. Remove all V belts to eliminate the accessories as the culprit. DO NOT RUN THE ENGINE LONG WITH THE WATER PUMP DISCONNECTED!!! Could be the timing belt tensioner. They usually whine. Water pumps usually rumbles. Alternators and a/c compressor clutch bearings can whine too. or ???

You need to troubleshoot before guessing! JMHO

Sometimes the timing belt will whine, especially when over tight.

With the engine running at a whining speed, spray pure water on the timing belt through the bottom edge of the cover. If the noise changes or goes away, that's it.
