New Process 208

Any extra help would be appreciated. My new process 208 pops out of 4W hi fairly quickly when the accelerator is hit. I do not know about "N" or 4W low as I can't get them to engage. But if I manually hold the shifter in 4W hi no problems. The truck is an '86 K10 305ci, th700r4 tranny. I think it may just be a linkage or cable adj.

I'd check out your bushings and see if anything is bent. Has it recently started happening? With manual hubs you can go into 4hi at any speed, and moving is far easier than being still. For four low you MUST be in neutral at either a stop or s-l-o-w-l-y moving. Pull it back into 4hi, right, and back into 4low. If you can't get it into 4low while under the truck, or get it to stay in

4hi while adjusting it under the truck, I have an NP208 for a TH700R4 in southern NH.
