Phone interface not updating to new numbers

Hi, My friend has an Audi A4 with the linked in phone hardware. He has changed some of the numbers in his phone sim card but the numbers displayed on the dash readout are still the original ones from when the phone was first loaded. Is there a way to refresh the Audis memory of the phone numbers?
