Does anyone know how much weight this vehicle will safely carry?
I want to haul an 8 foot camper that weighs less than 1600 lbs wet and full of gear. The camper would extend to just short of the tailgate.
Look in the glove box. There will be a label saying how heavy a slide in camper the truck is rated for. I think you will find that it says that truck is not rated for a camper.
I looked in a '98, 2WD and it said 599 pounds. Then I looked in a '98 4WD and it said it was not rated to carry a camper.
