Question re:30k Service- Santa Fe

We have a 2007 Santa Fe, due for a 30k service.When I called the dealer, they told me that's the 'first big service', takes 3-4 hours, cost about $450...Ouch, what do they do?? A look a the maintenance schedule didn't indicate this... or did I misinterpret?Feedback please, thank you!
