Mini Midas 1380cc Avonbar on ebay with no reserve and Full MOT

Lighter than a standard mini, more powerful than a standard mini. Very cheap insurance through Graham Sykes (my last policy was 156.50 pounds)

ENGINE:

Avonbar 1380cc (Avonbar engine number) Stage 2 Head, high lift cam

1 =BE" SU with MG Metro Filter Housing (high flow and quiet) Electric Fuel Pump Aldon Distributer Lucas Sport coil LCB exhaust manifold Alloy inlet manifold Custom Made two-box RC40 Stainless Exhaust system (sounds excellent) Alloy Rocker cover Decoke less than 100 miles ago (valves, bores and piston crowns in excellent condition. I could not see see any traces of scoring - or any wear infact - to the bores)

BODY:

The body is an extremely tough monocoque design (mini subframe mounted to front, Midas beam axle to rear) Recent new front and rear bumpers (white) courtesy of Charlie Dodd (note the driving lamps are currently for show but the lamps are fully usable should the successful bidder wish to wire these) The original mirrors and petrol cap (hard to find) are present The bonnet has a Midas front quick release pivot for quick bonnet removal (giving excellent engine accessibility) INTERIOR:

The dashboard, headlining, rear wheelarch covers and door inserts are original Midas durable black moulded items (leather crinkle finish) - these set this car significantly apart from other kit cars. The car has Cobra reclining seats (these are fixed in place to increase headroom - I am six foot two and a half - although drivers side adjuster is included in the sale) The original rear seat folding wooden back is in place (see pictures of this up and down) but no seat cushion is not present Original large alloy Spare Wheel clamping nut (hard to get hold of) - the cover looks creased in the photo because it has just come out of a cupboard. Glass Sunroof Wind down windows that work fine Rear Hatch with gas struts that lift and hold the glass as intended Pioneer Hi Spec Face off CD RDS Radio WHEELS/TYRES/SUSPENSION

Wheels: Excellent Conditon Genuine Rover Mini Cooper Wheels (x5) - Minilite style -with Genuine Mini Cooper inserts (no kerbing or corrosion) Tyres: 165x60 R12 Yokahama A539 (x5) nearly new (minimal tread wear) Genuine Rover Cooper Wheel nuts (stainless cover type) - these cost a fortune for a set Mini Hi-Lo suspension at front Beam Axle with coil over spax suspension to rear
