air suspension, Legacy 250T

Hey everyone, my first post here.

My 1999 250T station wagon with air suspension has recently been "sitting down" at the front after parking overnight. It resets to normal height after a short drive. The trouble is I'm scratching the front spoiler backing out over the kerb crossig.

any ideas? I've had the car almost 2 years and this is the first thing thats gone wrong!

cheers, John in NZ

On US spec models the air compressor and air tank is located under the front fender that the battery box is located. Have to remove the inner fender to access it. The tank has a solenoid. I'd remove and inspect it. Not a fix but the front struts each have a solenoid that should be very close to the firewall under the hood. Once the front struts are at the correct height, you could just unplug these two solenoids. Also if it takes longer then 5 seconds for the front struts to go from fully deflated to fully inflated then this indicates the compressor is weak.
