What this means
⚠ Book a service. The codes you entered describe faults that get worse, or more expensive, if left.
What to doBook a workshop inspection. Normal driving is usual with these faults, but they should not be left indefinitely.

  1. P0011 — Engine timing (service soon). The intake camshaft on bank 1 is more advanced than the engine computer asked for. This is usually a variable valve timing problem rather than a broken belt or chain.

Checks to do first, in order

  1. Check engine oil level and condition — variable valve timing is oil-pressure driven, and low or sludged oil is the most common cause.
  2. Inspect the bank 1 camshaft oil control valve and its electrical connector.
  3. Have the valve timing verified against specification before replacing parts.
