What this means
⚠ Book a service. The codes you entered describe faults that get worse, or more expensive, if left.
What to doBook a workshop inspection. Normal driving is usual with these faults, but they should not be left indefinitely.

  1. P0128 — Engine cooling (service soon). The engine is not reaching its normal operating temperature within the expected time. The thermostat is usually stuck partly open.

Checks to do first, in order

  1. Watch whether the temperature gauge settles lower than usual, or takes much longer to rise.
  2. Have the thermostat tested or replaced — this is the usual cause.
  3. Check the coolant temperature sensor if the thermostat proves good.
