Your codes

  1. P0351 — Ignition (service now). The engine computer cannot drive the ignition coil for cylinder 1 correctly. Something in that coil's circuit is open, shorted or out of range.

Checks to do first, in order

  1. If the warning light is flashing rather than steady, stop driving and have the vehicle recovered.
  2. Inspect the coil's connector and wiring for corrosion, heat damage or a loose pin.
  3. Swap the coil with a neighbouring cylinder, clear the code, and see whether the fault follows the coil.
  4. Check the spark plug for that cylinder — a worn plug makes the coil work harder and can set this.
