What this means
⚠ Book a service. The codes you entered describe faults that get worse, or more expensive, if left.
What to doBook a workshop inspection. Normal driving is usual with these faults, but they should not be left indefinitely.

  1. P0411 — Emissions control (service soon). The secondary air injection system is not flowing air as expected. This system pumps air into the exhaust on a cold start to help the catalytic converter reach working temperature, and it runs only briefly.

Checks to do first, in order

  1. Inspect the air pump and its relay and fuse — pumps commonly fail from water ingress.
  2. Check the switching or check valve for carbon build-up, which is the usual cause of a flow fault rather than a dead pump.
  3. Inspect the hoses between pump and exhaust for splits.
  4. Test on a genuinely cold start; the system does not run once the engine is warm, so a warm test proves nothing.
