What this means
⚠ Book a service. The codes you entered describe faults that get worse, or more expensive, if left.
What to doBook a workshop inspection. Normal driving is usual with these faults, but they should not be left indefinitely.

  1. P0455 — Emissions control (service soon). A large leak has been detected in the evaporative emissions system. Fuel vapour is escaping somewhere obvious enough for the system to spot immediately.

Checks to do first, in order

  1. Check that the fuel filler cap is present, correct and properly tightened.
  2. Inspect the EVAP lines and canister for disconnection or damage, especially after any recent work near the fuel tank.
  3. Have a smoke test done to locate the leak.
