Ford wants to sell Volvo too?

After selling Aston Martin and Jaguar, Ford is thinking to also sell Volvo as a step in their reorganization plan. Ford acquired Volvo Cars in 1998 for 6,45 billion dollars and has repeatedly denied the intention of selling it. Ford might also sell Mercury that has financial difficulties as Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reports. The smart money says Ford will unload Volvo.

The last successful foray Ford had in Europe was the GT 40 vs. Ferrari duel in the sixties.

Ford is not adding value to the Volvo company and should send it on it's way to a new home. Selling Mercury is silly as there is nothing to sell.
